1. Who we are
ErfCheck (erfcheck.co.za) is operated by buy-it-fastest, a South African software business. By using the site you agree to these terms. Contact us at info@buyitfastest.co.za.
2. What ErfCheck provides
Property information for South African properties: a free lookup for an address or erf, a paid property report, and a paid Pro plan for people who look up properties often.
3. About the information
Property information on ErfCheck is provided as is, for general information. It can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and it is not a valuation, legal advice or financial advice. Check anything you rely on with the municipality, a conveyancer or a registered valuer. We don't guarantee that every property, scheme or municipality is covered, or that a lookup will always succeed.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Payments are processed by PayFast; your card details go to PayFast, never to us.
- Property report: R99 once-off for one property. It is delivered straight after payment as a link on screen and by email, and stays available at that link and under your account.
- Pro: R299 per month, billed to your card by PayFast every month until you cancel. It includes unlimited live lookups, 20 property reports a month and suburb exports. Unused reports don't carry over to the next month.
5. Cancelling Pro
You can cancel at any time: sign in at erfcheck.co.za/account with the email you subscribed with and choose Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops all future charges. Pro stays on until the end of the month you have already paid for, and we don't refund part-months.

7. Using the site fairly
- Don't copy the site's data in bulk, by automated means or otherwise, or resell reports.
- Free live lookups are limited per hour so the service stays available to everyone.
- Report and Pro links are for you: keep them private.
8. Removing a property
We don't collect or show owner names. If you own a property and want its record removed, email info@buyitfastest.co.za with the address.
9. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from relying on the information, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that can't be excluded.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
