1. Who is responsible

ErfCheck (erfcheck.co.za) is operated by buy-it-fastest, a South African software business. buy-it-fastest is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Contact us at info@buyitfastest.co.za.

2. What we collect

• Your email address, when you buy a report, subscribe to Pro or sign in, so we can deliver what you bought and send sign-in links.
• Payment records: the product, amount, date and PayFast's payment reference. Card details are handled by PayFast; we never see or store them.
• Addresses you look up, to run the lookup, keep the record on file and fix lookups that fail.
• Cookies that keep you signed in, remember reports you have opened and your Pro access. We don't use advertising cookies; site counters are cookie-free.

3. Property information

ErfCheck shows information about properties (address, erf, sale history, municipal value and imagery). We don't collect or show owner names or ID numbers. An owner can ask us to remove a property's record by emailing info@buyitfastest.co.za.

4. Who processes it for us

• PayFast (South Africa) processes payments.
• Resend sends our emails (receipts, report links, sign-in links).
• Google Cloud and Firebase host the site and store our data. Our database and files are stored in Google's South African region; the website itself runs in Google's European data centre, so information passes through Europe when you use the site, under Google's data-protection terms.
• Google Maps Platform provides street and satellite imagery.

5. How long we keep it

Purchase and payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 90 days.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@buyitfastest.co.za. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
